  • Apalachicola Bay National Estuary Research Reserve:The Apalachicola Reserve includes two barrier islands and a portion of a third. The Reserve also includes the lower twenty miles of the Apalachicola River and its associated floodplain, small portions of adjoining uplands, and the Apalachicola Bay system.
