The British Olympic Team represents the
second largest delegation in the world.
Britain is one of the few nations to have participated in every winter and
summer Olympic Games since the advent of the modern era in Athens in
1896.
The BOA will bring 18 Olympic teams, all of which will include
internationally known Gold, Silver and Bronze medalists. The 18 Olympic
teams are:

- Rowing

Some of the Gold Olympic medalists who will be coming to Tallahassee
include:
Track & Field - Sally Gunnell (World record holder in the 400 meter
hurdles) and Linford Christie;
Rowing - Steve Redgrave (Gold in the last three games), Greg and
Jonny Searle and Matthew Pinsent;
Cycling - Chris Boardman.
