• connect now using TFN's JavaChat client (for browsers supporting java)
• connect to irc.tfn.net 6667 using your own irc client
• tfn users type can connect via the interactive menu. Telnet or SSH to tfn.net

public channels

• #Lobby - most popular gathering place (language filtered by robot)
• #Cafe - language not filtered
• #Agenda - special events channel

please observe the golden rule in irc and treat others as you would like to be treated. Be aware that IRC is a free speech system and TFN assumes no liability for what is said. An irc robot is stationed on the public channels and will 'kill' users for using several of the most (correctly spelled) objectionable words. Aside from that, there is no monitoring or control of language or subject matter on private channels. Users who are offended by others should use the /ignore command or form their own private channels. Concerned parents should monitor their children's use of IRC.
