YOU MUST ENCLOSE A *STAMPED* SELF-ADDRESSED ENVELOPE WITH YOUR APPLICATION FORMS AND $25 CHECK.

The registration process is very simple. Below you will find two forms. Press "d" to download these forms to your computer. Then print them. Or you can print them screen by screen, by using your computer's screen print protocol.

The first form is an agreement, which includes the terms of your participation on the system. This form MUST be signed and dated.

The second form, provides us with the information necessary to set up your "account" on the system and to enter you into the user directory.

To register, fill out these forms completely, sign them, and write a check for $25 made out to "Tallahassee Free-Net". Mail the two forms, the check, and a self-addressed, *STAMPED* envelope to:

There is a $25 annual fee for this registration but NO CHARGE to utilize the system once your account is set up. Your login ID and password (which you should change as soon as possible) will be mailed back to you as soon as possible. Please allow at least three weeks to be notified that your account is active. In the meantime, feel free to use the Free-Net as a visitor.

TALLAHASSEE FREENET REGISTRATION FORM NO. 1 THE AGREEMENT

Preamble: Tallahassee Free-Net comprises a virtual community that consists of friends and neighbors in Leon County as well as in other Florida counties, other states, and even other countries. As in any community, members should be respectful of the rights, sensitivities, and sensibilities of others. Tallahassee Free-Net urges its members to exercise tolerance, taste, and judgment in initiating and replying to communications, especially those that are to be posted in public areas.

In exchange for the use of the Tallahassee Free-Net Computer System, I understand and agree to the following:

1. That the use of the Tallahassee Free-Net computer system is a privilege which may be revoked by Tallahassee Free-Net at any time for abusive conduct. Such conduct would include, but not be limited to, the placing of unlawful information or files on the system, the use of sexually explicit, or patently offensive language or images in public messages. Tallahassee Free-Net reserves the right to review any material stored in files to which all users have access and will edit or remove any material which Tallahassee Free-Net in its sole discretion, believes to be unlawful, sexually explicit, or patently offensive. The Board of Directors of Tallahassee Free-Net (or its designee) upon registration of complaint will be the sole arbiter of what constitutes sexually explicit or patently offensive language or images.

2. That all information contained on Tallahassee Free-Net is placed there for general education, information and entertainment purposes and is, in no way, intended to refer or be applicable to any specific person, case, or situation.

3. That Tallahassee Free-Net does NOT warrant that the functions of this system will meet any specific requirements you may have nor that it will be error free or uninterrupted; nor shall it be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages (including lost data, information or profits) sustained or incurred in connection with the use, operation or inability to use the system.

4. To abide by such rules and regulations of system usage as may be promulgated from time to time by the administrators or Board of Directors of Tallahassee Free-Net.

5. In consideration for the privilege of using Tallahassee Free-Net and in consideration for having access to the information contained on it, I hereby release Tallahassee Free-Net, its officers, directors, operators, and any firms or institutions with which they are affiliated for any and all claims of any nature arising from my use, or inability to use, Tallahassee Free-Net.
