If you forget your password or simply want to change it, you may send date of birth, family name, login, and the new password to The Problems Team and your password will be changed for you. Your password MUST conform to the following:MAINTAINED BY: Brian S. "Buddy" Baker
The best password will consist of 8 characters (max-allowed). It should NOT be based on a word that can be found in a dictionary. It must include upper and lower case letters, a number or two, and a special character (excluding *). Avoid using your birthdate or your name. One method is to base your password on a sentence that you can easily remember. Example: "@ My password is safe 2 use !" = @Mpis2u! Your password change will not be effective immediately after you enter it. It will be added to a queue which is processed by root several times each week. Keep using your current password until it stops working, then use your new one. Remember your password, the system encrypts it and we *cannot* retrieve it for you once it is in the data base.
