PINE-CREATE A MAIL ALIAS LIST
Pine makes it easy to create and add to aliases. From the main menu type A (for address book) this will put you in the address book, type @ (at sign) for Add New.

You will then see a listing that prompts you for a Nickname, a Full Name, FCC, Comment, and Addresses. To form a list, simply give you list a Nickname, a Full Name (that will show up on the TO: line when you type the Nickname) You can use the comment line to put something in to remind you what the list or address is used for.

Then under Addresses, start entering each address, such as user@tfn.net,user2@tfn.net..... remembering that you have to use a comma to separate email addresses. Remember also to use the complete internet address of the user you wish to add to your addressbook or mailing list.. It is always advisable to check the validity of an email address periodically, to be sure it is correct. Once your address(es) are added, simply press Control+X to save the list, and it will return you to your addressboox, and you will see the entries you made. Press Either the < key or the M key to return to the Main Menu.

You can update this list at any time by going to the address book and highlighting the list and pressing > to View/Update it. Once you do this, you will have to press U to update it, then control+X to save the list or address. Press Either the < key or the M key to return to the Main Menu. Pine automatically puts the names in alphabetical order.
