CREATING FOLDERS USING ELM MAILER
Elm makes it fairly convenient to create new folders. Two commands to be aware of are "s" to save a message to a new folder AND delete it from the current folder and "C" (capital C) to copy a me ssage to a new folder and NOT DELETING it from the current folder. When you hit either "s" or "C" the default for the name of the folder will be = followed by the username of whomever sent you the message. For instance, if you choose to "s"ave this message, you will see =beller appear. You can certainly rename the folder to anything you like, this is just the default for elm. By the way, the = signifies your home directory for your mail folders.

By the way, the = signifies your home directory for your mail folders. This is usually ~/Mail if you use elm or ~/mail if you use pine. So if you saved this message with the default name with elm, you should be able to find it as the ~/Mail/beller file.
