There are alot of files here that have been used as Helplink Files since 1996. As times and needs change, we must be ready to update or change the Helplink files. Previously, this was done through email and compiling information into text files for users benefit. With the Web being so VAST, it is almost impossible to keep up with every possible change, but we can make an effort to do so.

I have been thinking of a way to make this as easy as possible, and have come up with a simple solution. The way to do this easily is to set up a TFN HELPLINK Database REQUEST form. For those of you who have seen my website Comments CGI form, you will notice some simularities, because the format is similar to my CGI form for my website.

This form will allow the user to leave feedback, Ask a Question, Report a Problem,Report an Error or Ommission in a Helplink file, or Request that a Helplink File be Added to the Database or edited to reflect new information.

The Form is set up so that you choose what you wish to do, and then once you choose, you leave the relevent information in the proper area. If you are reporting a Problem, Error, or Ommission in a helpfile or Universal Resource Locator, (URL) leave the FULL URL, the File name in question and or the Error message that you are receiveing. If you are having a problem, the more information you can provide us, the better we can serve you. It is important to note that if you wish a response from us that you provide a VALID EMAIL ADDRESS for us to respond to.

CAN USERS SUBMIT HELPFILES FOR THE DATABASE? / DO YOU NEED HELP WITH THESE?

The answer to these questions is a "Yes." TFN is run by volunteers, so if you want to submit ideas for helpfiles, by all means let me know so that I can discuss this with you. If you wish, you may submit the file via email, and I will look at it, and add it to the database with an appropriate link. More on this at a later date.
