[Music starts. Nerima outside Tendo dojo around 3:00am Ryoga and Ranma
stand outside sizing each other up. Ryoga starts to circle around Ranma.]

Ryoga: I look at you than you me. Hungry and thirsty I wait. Holding the
lion's share. Holding the key. Holding me back 'cause I'm striving to be
better than you.

[Ranma rolls his eyes]

Ranma: Better than me?

Ryoga: Better than you.

Ranma: [laughs] Better than me.

[Ryoga launches a jump side kick at Ranma, which he easily dodges]

Ryoga: Lock horns, I push and I strive. Somehow I feel more alive. Bury
the need for it. Bury the seed. Bury me deep when there's no will to be,
[roundhouse at Ranma's head] better than you.

[Ranma catches Ryoga's leg and spins him to the ground]

Ranma: Better than me?

[Ryoga stands and wipes the dirt from his cheek]

Ryoga: Better than you.

Ranma: Ok, man, better than me. [Shakes his head]

[Ranma charges Ryoga and unleashes his Amiguriken technique on him.]

Ranma: Ha! Can't stop this train from rollin'. Nothin' brings me down.

Ryoga: [thinking] No.. I can't stop this train from rollin' 

[Wields his umbrella to fend off Ranma's blows]

Ryoga: [aloud] No. No, forever holding on.

(solo)

[Ryoga pushes forward as Ranma's attack ends, he swings the umbrella
causing Ranma to have to jump up to avoid being hit. Ryoga swings the
umbrella vertically at Ranma's head. He dodges and as Ryoga tries a
counter swing, Ranma jumps and lands on Ryoga's head]

Ranma: [looking down from atop Ryoga's head] Ha! Can't stop this train
from rollin'. Oh, you.. you can't take it down. No never stop this
locomotion. [Laughs] Nope, you can't bring me down, 'cause I'm better than
you. 

Ryoga: Better than me? [sighs]

Ranma: Better than you.

Ryoga: Better than me? [sighs again]

Ranma: MUCH better than you. 

[Ryoga glows blue and Ranma starts to look a little confused and hops
down.]

(as cymbals stop)
Ryoga: Shishi Hokodan!

[Ranma flies into a wall with a thud, cracking it in a spider web
pattern.]

Ryoga: Better than you!

[Thunder claps]

Ryoga: [stepping towards the downed Ranma] Better than you.. better than
you. Better than.. [looks up] better than.. better than.. [rain starts to
fall] YOU!!

Ranma: Can't stop this train form rollin' [seems to pass out]

[The two change into cursed forms.. Akane, wakened by the noise of their
fighting runs out to see Ranma-chan bruised up and looking rather
unconscious. She runs to his-now-her side and shows general care for her.
P-chan notices and tears up.]

P-chan: bwee? (Better than me?)

[Akane picks up Ranma-chan and carries her towards the Tendo home. Ranma
carefully opens her eyes and looks at P-chan and winks then mouths:
"Better than you."]
