As some of ya know, my name is Crystal ... however, a few of ya may know me by one of my aliases. I run my web pages and post fic on FFML under Akane-Chan ... if you know me personally and are familiar with Ranma 1/2, you know exactly why I chose this alias. ^.^ Oh yeah, I'm on irc oft times as Kristall. No, I don't have a personality disorder mind you, I'm just weird.

If ya can't guess, I've become obsessed with anime to the point that I scare people. My favorite being Ranma 1/2 ... I could give ya a bunch of lines as to why, but I'm gonna take up enough space with this as it is, plus no since makin ya fall asleep before you see my site fully. As for the runners up, I like Gundam (not just W, but it's my fav. mmm Bishounen *drool*), Fushigi Yuugi, Princess Mononoke, X, Evangelion, Slayers, Escaflowne, Undubbed S. Moon, BGC 2040, and various others that I won't waste your time with ... pretty much everything I see I like ... save for DBZ. It's just annoying. Did I mention I like Ranma 1/2 ^_-

As for the rest of my life other than anime (yes there are other things in my life besides anime ... and stop laughing.) I'm a culinary student at Capital Culinary Institute I write ... poetry and stories and such. My poetry seems to be a little better though, but whatever. I play guitar ... it used to be an escape from the annoyances of being a teenager, but now I just pick it up when I get bored, or I'm upset, something to sooth me. I had a teacher for a little while in high school who told me I coulda taken that some where, but I haven't had the desire to even try. It's just somethin for myself.. wasted talent I suppose. Right ... so, umm, yep. Also worth mentioning I suppose is the fact I play RPG games like a mad women. Damn good at them too. Especially those programmed by squaresoft. (Resident kami of video gaming. How can you not like them ... David, this means you :b)

I also love music. Anything from 80s new wave to hairbands, 90s grunge, alternative and metal. Even some industrial and every now and then a little pop. J-Pop as well but what can I say. I also have to say I enjoy watching movies ... anything directed by Kevin Smith I tend to enjoy, medieval and fantasy, military, and black comedies. (Black comedies are not what you probably are thinking.. they're extremely sarcastic and dark in their humor. And no... Booty Call and Next Friday are not black comedies :b)

Oh yeah, I still am a bit of a tomboy, I however have been slightly more umm.. girlish lately. *shrug* I still like to play hockey and various other sports, but since I moved to Tallahassee, I haven't played as much.

A new little paragraph that deserves to be here is a lil shout out to my lil friends. Yeah, I actually have some. Yay and stuff. Dougie, Known ya pretty much all my life. Well since fourth grade anyway. Still a damn long time. Who knew we'd go from me throwing acorns at you in day care to becoming such close friends? Doug's Livejournal
Jennifer, a friend online that I probably emotionally scarred when we met in real life at my fourteenth birthday party. Nothing like a playing lazer tag with a room full of psychotic boys (and me of course). And not only did she survive that, but the van ride home, and the subsequent go-kart racing through the woods of Wakulla County.
